The 1st International Public Health Conference 2018 delves on Collaboration and partnerships that seek to bring all African Public Health Professionals together in hosting and organizing joint conferences for purposes of sharing new knowledge in public health, dissemination of research findings.

This timely conference avails an opportunity for learning, discussing and critically analyzing prevailing contemporary issues in Public Health practice in Africa with a view of unveiling practical and scientific case-based solutions to public health challenges.

This will not only be a moment of learning new public health knowledge from the research findings but also to reflect on the available opportunities for responding to emerging and re-emerging issues in Public Health as well as achieving one of the Big 4 agendas in Kenya, the Vision 2030 and SDGs through a multidisciplinary, multi-sectoral and multi-national approach.

Call for Papers

The 1st  International  Conference of African Institute of Public Professionals is scheduled from 23rd - 25th October, 2018 in Nairobi, Kenya.

The theme of the conference is “Contemporary issues in Public Health Practice in Africa”.

The organizing committee hereby invites participants to submit abstracts of their research for consideration as oral, poster or virtual presentation.

Conference Objectives

The objectives of the conference will be

  1. To provide an opportunity for regional and international organizations to share Public health findings of their research findings.
  2. Enhance collaborative and joint research on emerging and re-emerging issues in Public Health.
  3. To provide an engagement platform for health and Public Health professionals, Scientists, health policy makers the academia and other stakeholders on contemporary issues in Public Health
  4. To promote networking between scholars and other professionals
